Pros

Innovation is strong. Team members really care about one another.

Cons

Since Alex Gonthier returned, the company has gone way down hill. Along with his abrasive CFO Uri Zelmanovich, these two have taken a good culture and flushed it down the toilet. The technical leadership at the company, under Ezio Fernandez, has been a disaster yet the loyalty between Alex and Ezio means he can do no wrong. The company is losing the competitive advantage it once had, and Alex is too arrogant to realize he doesn't have a good grasp on the market. Alex has also replaced the key leadership team with a bunch of white men, so any DEI focus that once existed here is no more. If you want to work in Fintech and Payments, there are much better alternatives out there.

Pros

An opportunity to deliver immediate value / understand the world of payments. If the company goes big, there could be a nice payoff. Not sure if this is likely as there seem to be financial irregularities in their operations - they were denied an IPO in 2021 by the Swedish regulators.

Cons

- Growth at all costs or the fancy term is 'delivery first culture'. Forget work life balance or any of those niceties. When you work across many timezones (US, Brazil, EU etc) you can really kiss any semblance of balance good bye. - People are treated like machines, basically if you don't please the right people / meet sometimes ridiculous goals / prepare to be out of a job soon. - They make the vast majority of their money off sportsbooking / gaming websites. You've to be comfortable supporting the gambling industry. I was not.

Pros

The tremendous growth in Gaming requires an open banking solution

Cons

Heavily reliant on Gaming Extreme lack of processes Lack of accountability across organizations Lack of honesty to customers The hiring process did not articulate the role accurately Churns through employees - it's a private equity company so they are all about the bottom line and I am surprised at such high glassdoor reviews.
