Pros

Back in the day, you could make really good money if you were good at swindling boomers, with practically no experience. It’s an easy way to get your three years in for Florida to get your own license and start your own pest control company.

Cons

I bought a plane ticket to go to my grandfather’s 80th birthday, and requested off. There was a regional meeting that weekend, and my manager told me that if I didn’t attend it, I couldn’t continue working there. They did away with regional meetings after that one. I missed an important family event for no freakin reason other than an empty threat. They also threaten you with non-compete agreements, which are also pointless unless you try to steal customers within 2 years after leaving. They push selling contracts. You’re really a contract salesman above all else.
