Its hard to say when management and other employees are suffocating you with nonsense

Cons

Management is terrible and incompetent. They have no idea what they're doing. Avoid them at all costs. The main guy up top is condescending and rude. He has not idea how to run a company. HR leaves fakes reviews on here. Don't believe any of the "five" star reviews. Literally no one from the company thinks like this.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We're sorry that you're not having a great experience. We like to think we have a lot of stellar, hard-working managers here at TuSimple. Like most tech start-ups, we have a lot of first-time managers that are still fine-tuning their management skills, which is why we have a comprehensive management program in place to accelerate their growth. Also, HR would never leave fake reviews. Lying about what it is like to work here is a lose-lose situation. The company would spend a lot of time and money recruiting people, they would come on board, they would be miserable, and they would quickly leave. Then we'd have to start the recruiting process all over again. We don't see any value in that scenario at all. Thanks again for writing us a review. We have an open-door policy and a lot of anonymous surveys we periodically issue, so we encourage you to take any concerns you have to upper management and to provide feedback on surveys.

Pros

This is a dynamic environment that looks to empower employees who are willing to go above and beyond the scope of their duties. Very rewarding if you put in the work and effort. Managers receive training and embrace it. Employees and ideas are valued and concerns are heard. It’s great to be able to communicate with people from different teams easily. The company offers many great resources on top of the awesome benefits.

Cons

Only downside is for anyone who is uncomfortable with change. Things change every day, but that is to be expected from a start up.

Innovative workplace with talented individuals Admirable mission and advancement with new technology Great benefits (within the U.S.) Meals provided, well stocked kitchens with snacks and drinks Hard work is rewarded

Cons

Management/Internal politics can be messy, but it's improving Open space work environment looks good, but can be very disruptive Hiring process should be more strictly monitored because there are some incompetent employees just skating by and inconveniencing others Often times, no resolution to complaints filed to HR Policies change frequently
