Nonfunctional staffing

Pros

Excellent cardio workout as you navigate the expansive campus.

Cons

Poor staffing with Med-Surg patient ratio of 6:1 with multiple discharges and admits in the same shift irregardless of main med pass, shift change, or aquity. The pharmacy system is the most disorganized disfunct system, preventing the nurse from having the medications in providing time-sensitive care. The Vascular Access Team rarely shows up, Wound Ostomy Continence nurse was only available by being prescheduled on weekdays. The atmosphere was petty and punitive.
