Tucson Medical Center reviews

The wage is under the national average for many positions. This doesn't appear to be true in the clinical positions. Areas affected the most are the non-making or no money making support areas of the hospital.

Employee parking is confusing and terrible. TMC gives no consideration to whether there is enough, I would have to arrive 15-20 mins earlier than usual just to find a spot some days. PCTs might be paid a bit more than usual but I earned it. I consistently had back-breaking, unsafe patient loads. Management didn't do much to advocate for us and find more staff. No consideration was given to days I asked to work. Self scheduling was a myth. I was working every weekend while some techs had all of them off. TMC was constantly calling and begging for me to work overtime during busy times, but during slow times, I would work maybe one day a week. I was a full time, benefitted employee but for months at a time, couldn't count on being treated like one.
