Pros

Good Product and Home Depot backing

Cons

Good Product horrible environment. Micro Managing to extreme. Every waking hour you are assessed by what you accomplish on Salesforce. As a commissioned sales person you are expected to do many things that do NOT create sales or earnings. Sweeping sheds, changing signs constantly, an reporting to management above and beyond what you do in Salesforce. Constant urgency that I've not seen in any sales organization. Everything focused on what did you do today regardless of last month's productivity or history.

Pros

Great place to gain experience if your self motivated. Potential to make great money is here, but it is a difficult path to navigate and become successful at.

Cons

Corporate management doesn't understand the SDC role all that well and has exceptionally high expectations with little to no training or explanation as to how to preform as well as they expect. Getting any kind of technical assistance is very difficult. Without having strong computer skills you will struggle at this job as there isn't any quality training to begin with. This job is not for the faint of heart.

Thank you for your review. Training and development of our team members is an area we are always looking to improve on and we have made great strides in this area over the years. Training requires an "all hands on deck" approach from our corporate and regional leaders to our local store management team. We continue to recognize the importance of Training through engagement and development.

Pros

This is a job for desperate people.

Cons

They want and overqualified candidate for minimum pay.s you'll be cleaning sheds, marketing, sales, and teaching sales tactics to Home Depot employees. Then paying your own gas to drive to 3 other Home Depot stores in your area.

I'm sorry to hear of your perception of this role. I would have to counter your Cons comments. The minimum pay is not accurate as, this is also commission so, its the sales ability and skills of the role that contributes to the pay. Cleaning sheds is not accurate, either. It's simply making sure the sheds at The Home Depot stores are presentable to the customers. Market and sales and teaching, Yes, this called "Sales". Therefore, part of the job as is for most sales jobs. We do provide reimbursement for mileage.
