The best thing about being an adjunct faculty member at TCC is that the full-time faculty treat you as a respected colleagjue.

Cons

The worst thing about being an adjunct faculty member at TCC is that your mailbox is often miles away from your classrooms. This is highly inconvenient especially, when the weather is dicy.

Pros

Amazing people...both staff and students. I learned a lot, I enjoined the atmosphere. Basically, it was a family that formed around the employees.

Cons

The pay was not great, but it was alright for the skill level I was at. The potential to mover forward and advance was not a reality.

As an Adjunct Instructor, I was left to teach the curriculum by my own methods as long as I taught all of the required sections of the book.

Cons

Too many students drop, disappear or fail due to not trying.
