Co-workers are nice and mostly very smart. I can’t think of any other pros. Pay is ok.
Cons
I’m not sure where to start. Hopefully things will change with the IBM acquisition. This is a great place to work if you enjoy being berated by the CEO regardless of your level of seniority. He’s mean and that’s all there is to it. The leadership team makes a lot of excuses for him, but the truth is that he is everything that is wrong with the company. Every problem Turbonomic has is because of him and nothing will change until he leaves his post. The exec team is mostly made up of his friends. If you didn’t go to Harvard, they think you’re a peasant. End of story. Don’t believe the positive reviews - it looks like HR asked employees to write reviews. They probably gave them bonuses for their trouble.
