Pros

- The company's products are highly sophisticated and integrate with many virtualization and cloud computing technologies. This allows engineers to be familiar and get proficient in many of those technologies. - The team tries to cope with latest technologies in adopting what's necessary for developing and improving the company's applications. This gives you the opportunity to stay up to date with latest best practices. - It still has a startup culture, so you are learning a lot. - People are smart and friendly. - Management cares.

Cons

- Complex product that takes time to understand and start contributing to. - average salaries, many other startups have higher ranges.

Pros

The best technical solution by far for assuring performance and efficiency of hybrid cloud environments and beyond. The most important thing a company can have is a winning product and we definitely have that. Championship Exec team that is determined to change the world. A mission driven culture that can see the large leaps the company is making. Timing- The world is coming our way with rapidly changing needs only we can fulfill.

Cons

We have been leading the bleeding edge of the technology and have been early to the solution which means we have to wait for the tech world to catch up and see the value of hybrid cloud, edge and serverless computing and beyond.

Pros

1) A good first step into software without having to deal with an overly technical/difficult technology. 2) yes.... there are snacks. 3) cool Boston office... gorgeous views. 4) There are some seriously awesome and talented people here.

Cons

1) CEO is irrational and out-of-touch. He doesn’t care about... anyone. 2) Founder is argumentative just to be argumentative. If it’s not his idea, it’s a bad idea. 3) high churn rate (customers and employees) 4) Pay is laughable. I left to do the same job at another company and doubled my salary without trouble. Turbonomic CFO refused a 5K/year pay increase after two years of dedicated employment. 5) No 401k match 6) Work-from-home discouraged on most teams. 7) Their mentality is you need them more than they need you. 8) Numerous issues with technology. So many bugs. 9) Sales writes checks services and training have to/can’t cash. 10) CEO and founder are bottleneck in almost everything. Don’t trust leaders to do their jobs and run their teams. 11) The triad is stupid and doesn’t resonate with customers. Get used to it.

Thank you for your feedback. It’s unfortunate your experience was less than positive given our Best Workplaces Award of 2018 which reflected the morale and culture of our most recent and tenured hires. What’s more, our recent 6.3 release was the highest quality ever shipped from the Engineering team. Our leadership team is constantly learning and striving for transparency and earning the trust of our teams. We wish you luck in your next endeavor.
