Pros

I’ve worked at Turn5 for many years, specifically on the Photo/Video team. I really want to highlight my appreciation for growth opportunities and advancement this company gives employees. If you work hard and stay consistent then you WILL be rewarded for it. The management team is very fair and holds everyone accountable, they adhere to a very structured approach using style-guides and SOPs to keep everyone aligned and have expectations set clearly. PTO is earned with every paycheck and scheduling it is never an issue. The company itself holds frequent events and in-person company meetings which are fun!

Cons

The Photo/Video team is production-oriented so there is ALWAYS more product to shoot and they encourage you to be as efficient as possible - it can definitely get tiring (bi-pay period bonuses help a LOT with motivation though).

Pros

Position is remote or hybrid, which is nice. No micro-managing from higher ups.

Cons

They do release updates that seem to make it harder to do the job sometimes

Pros

Free coffee and on-site barista

Cons

They are very clicky and if you don't fit in they will oust you. If you know what you're doing and apply for a job here in the video department, just throw everything you know about video production out the window and they will tell you what they want, then change their mind 10 times. Even if you offer to do more than what you're hired for, they will just tell you that they don't need that (even though they were hiring for that position). I was hired when they were extremely busy with a big company event that happens every year, everything was fine until the event was over. I was only asked if I liked working there one time, about 4 days after I was hired. I told them that it was too soon to tell as I was just hired and hadn't had time to form an opinion. Then they looked for every reason to make me want to quit. When it was obvious to them that I wasn't leaving on my own, they fired me before my first 90 days were up.
