Thank you for taking time to submit your feedback. I agree, our culture is fast-paced. When we move quickly, there may be times things aren’t communicated as clearly as they should. Communication is important to us and one way we try to ensure we consistently communicate to all team members is through Quarterly Huddles and team meetings. These meetings allow senior management to inform the Turn5 team about key initiatives, business updates and other important company and cultural updates. Our associates ask questions and discuss concerns during these meetings and the CEO requires each leader of a functional area, such as IT, ecommerce, product, etc. to be present at these meetings to answer questions and resolve concerns directly for the associates. You noted that you are not clear on expectations. I encourage you to bring these concerns directly to your manager and ask for clarity. It is important that your manager knows you are unclear and it will give each of you the opportunity to work through the muck and come out working together in the same direction. If you don’t think your concerns are addressed after meeting with your manager, please come talk with me and I will help you get the answers to need. Nancy Adams, Chief People Officer 610-240-5111

Pros

I love Turn5. The culture the people, everything about Turn5 makes me happy about coming to work. I've had the luxury of working in a few different departments on multiple levels over the years. While there is still much learning that I can do, the amount of support that is here is unmatched. My idea's aren't ignored and i'm contributing to the success of the company. My work is acknowledged and i'm very much a part of the team.

Cons

Seeing the back end of things, we could clean it up a little bit. A lot of times jobs that others should be handling seem to be placed on others that are not in that department. The culture has changed dramatically, Turn5 used to be a relaxed company (while we still have fun) the company's growth has become heavily focuses on profits & numbers. Good for the business, not so good for employees on an individual level.

Thank you for posting about your experience with Turn5. There are many examples during the day, in the week/month/year of employees demonstrating one of our core values of “being a team player.” It’s nice to hear that it doesn’t go unnoticed. In the areas Turn5 can do better, we hear you. It’s important to have a sense of clear ownership and accountability of roles and responsibilities within employee groups. As the company continues to grow with an eye on profitability and a commitment to structure ourselves from a small to mid-sized company, we can’t lose focus on acknowledging the individuals who get us there every day. This makes perfect sense and is a continued point of focus for us.

Pros

They know how to party!!! The work space is amazing. Fast paced. Loads of opportunity.

Cons

Need to focus a bit less on fun and a bit more on work from time-to-time. Upper management has a vision - I just wish that they would let those that need to plan to it, know it. If you work style is not like upper management - it can be an issue.
