Pros

I work with a great team of engineers, managers, and office coordinators. Compensation would be fair for a 50 hour week; typical week is 55-60 hours so I'm neutral on compensation. I'm told the bonus program is great if you don't mind waiting a year after your job closes out to collect. Health and other benefits are acceptable. Seems like there is a lot of opportunity to move up.

Cons

Engineering is understaffed for the amount of paperwork and reporting required. The bar is very low for what the company considers a competent Superintendent or Foreman. Lots of rework.

Pros

Zero. Management will sell you a great work environment but not soon after getting there your realize all Perini employees despise the company and where there working. Body language and attitude of Foreman say it all.

Cons

This is probably the worst construction company I’ve ever worked for! Management has not a clue to what is going on or what is needed to be done to be successful. Jobs are in complete disarray, enigineers hate working there. And union employees are clueless drug addicts.

Pros

Bonding capability, Suitability of scale.

Cons

Lack of management philosophy and a no growth mentality of not only middle, but senior management. Bean counters control everything at T-P. T-P has in place controls that delay payments to Vendors and to Subcontractors that result in poor cooperation and lack of bid assistance. Finally, there is no quality control of anything except monetary issues; management is a closed circle which protects only its own.
