      Devoid of a positive culture

      Pros

      Good people, competitive salaries, opportunities to work on large construction projects, bonus' depending on who you are and what you are willing to do

      Cons

      Terrible benefits, including insurance and profit sharing. Safety culture non existent, HR department that covers abusive behavior, CEO and COO who rules by fear and intimidation. This carries down to every level of management. Ethics and morals are non existent

      Great experience in large scale heavy civil construction. Some of the Biggest jobs in the country.

      Pros

      Start work right away. Get to work on major construction jobs right out of school with many experienced engineers leading the way.

      Cons

      Thrown into the fire with little support. Expected to get everything done under budget with no support. Understaff's jobs. Forced to work different shifts week to week with no real look ahead schedule to plan life. Horrible Work to Personal Life balance.

      Pros

      Given the opproutinity to lead and to succeed. Able to run work and grow within the company.

      Cons

      As a young engineer you are run into the ground. Alot of off shift work. The company also has a trial by fire mentality. They throw young engineers into the field without much training.
