Great Hours. Mon through Fri. only. Good about giving time off when needed. Feel like I am a valued member of a team. Will work with your schedule if you are attending school. Promotions come from within.

Cons

Not enough money to live off of if you're single. Of course it it day care and most day cares do not pay enough. Rarely get 40 hours, more like 37, 38. They DO NOT pay overtime EVER.

Pros

Incredibly warm environment to work in. The children can often be difficult but the staff is awfully helpful when it comes to getting through any problems. For a somewhat entry-level type position the pay is actually very good. The security is pretty good, so there is less worrying about the safety of the children in this dangerous world, and more emphasis being put on the education aspects of the job. As long as you have an understand supervisor there is little worry about work-place related problems.

Cons

Sometimes you deal with tough situations with children but otherwise it's fine.
