Cons

Tenure, experience, or product knowledge had little to no bearing regarding advancement. Advancement was based on ability to make connections or being a part of a "good ol' boy" group. If you did not have the right connections or were not apart of a certain clique, you would not advance. Staff retention rates started to become atrocious which caused the work life balance to be terrible. Compensation was on the lower end. Middle management are nothing but yes men for upper management and engage in office politics. Concerns or suggestions for improvement are given nothing but lip service.

Co-workers are great. The people you work with on a daily basis are just like you find and any company.

Cons

Management is only concerned about being a “growth company” for Wall Street. They don’t know how to manage the company in a way that fosters organic growth, so they have to buy companies that are innovative, or were innovative before they bought and ruined them. This creates yet another disjointed solution with empty promises of integrating the solution. “Alliance?” Ha- that’s laughable.
