Tyler Transportation division - Versatrans

Pros

Good people at all levels and departments. Overall good software products.

Cons

This division of Tyler does not compensate their sales people adequately. They are WAY below industry standard for SaaS. On top of a very low salary, the commission has become very underwhelming due to modifications of comp plans and making it nearly impossible to make an accelerated commission rate. They also expect you to sell navigation tablets (BTW... They don't work very well) and all it's services but barely pay you any commission on that either. The main leader of this division is the reason behind all of this and it's only for his own gain and bottom line.

Team culture is more on the toxic side, but this really depends on the individual team and the manager.
