Great benefits and PTO, stable company with great outlook, excellent products for the public sector, value work-life balance

Cons

Base pay is not competitive, managers do not communicate very well, not many opportunities to advance within some divisions, onboarding training was lacking

Pros

The biggest benefit of working at Tyler Technologies is the ability to advance your career. There is room for movement for everyone in a relatively short amount of time. They are very competitive in pay/benefits, you'd be hard pressed to find better in this area. Training is always available as well as the best, most current tools to complete your job. The office feels a bit corporate, however the atmosphere is far from it. Management is always open and willing to hear an employee's concerns or complaints and will go to bat for them when necessary.

Cons

Many people that work here are "idle"...they get enough done to keep their jobs. This is extremely disruptive to the rest of the achievers and over-achievers to get their jobs done as these people weigh them down.
