Pros

You mileage will largely vary on what team you get placed, and who your direct report ends up being. The U-Haul HQ is conveniently located next to the light rail and there is decent food in the downstairs cafeteria. The job was very straight forward. I have met some incredible co-workers who are hardworking and genuinely wanted everyone to succeed.

Cons

The hiring manager seemed desperate to hire me, which I should've taken as a sign that this job will take anyone. My manager had favorites, including a coworker who would show up at 10am and fall asleep at his desk. Even though I was meeting all my metrics, the manager wasn't pleased that I wasn't asking enough "in-person" questions and I preferred to email questions. This all occurred during the height of COVID in 2020 by the way.
