Top Richard Davis - is excellent. He has a vision and is working hard for it to become a reality.

Cons

Credit is not given where it is due. Management cannot be trusted. There is no recognition. For the last 5 years we have not received increases more than 2%. Favoritism is prevalent - if you are not in the that circle, you will not be promoted or go anywhere without explanation. Stress is extremely high and the rewards are very low. Management has no integrity. The mission statement should be "We want our employees to do more, more and more." Purse strings are so tight we work in a filthy environment with very few necessary system and computer upgrades.

Pros

The bank is responding to employee survey results admirably. Improvements in compensation, communication, systems and technology are planned. The bank is well capitalized and highly rated by the rating agencies. Its as healthy a bank as there is in the entire country.

Cons

The management at the top have for the most part lived though the Grundhofer regime (notoriously cheap), and while they may collectively agree with Davis' desire to update the organization, I don't feel any of them are interested in or capable of pulling this off. The real improvements will like happen as newer blood moves up the chain of command.
