Pros

Convienent locations coupled with the opportunites for movement within the organization. Some departments are better than others.

Cons

Middle managers with little or no people skills. There's a lot of focus on the minutae - if you took too many bathroom breaks but there's also a lot of favortisim from the managers.

Pros

US Bank is a very conservative company but it is great to know we are doing fine in a recession. Not afraid of layoffs, CEO and executive management has invested in employees in terms of bonuses, raises, 8 hours a year to volunteer, mentorship program, etc. CEO really cares about employees (Richard Davis), unlike Jerry Grundhoefer who only cared about the bottom line.

Cons

Banking is heavily regulated and dealing with all the red tape is burdensome, especially with corporate IT.

Pros

If you are in an incentive based postion, compensation is more than fair. I've heard that salarys and raises are very substandar.

Cons

Benefits are aweful, very little upward mobility
