Pros

Work Life Flexibility and Management Encouraging you to puruse career goals

Cons

Big Bank, Big Politics. We often let our internal processes or problems interfere with doing what is best for the customer. This needs to be corrected.

Pros

Strong, stable bank in the midst of a financial crisis. I have been impressed with the opportunities I have been able to pursue. Even if I had to push a little harder to have the chance to move up, I still was able to do so. Thank you for that.

Cons

Lousy pay compared to other financial institutes. As a banker, it is very frustrating how difficult it is to have direct lending approve any loans, or lines of credit. I was disappointed with my training. When I started as a teller, I was in the position for over a month before I was able to go to my first training class. When I moved to Personal Banker, I was in the position for 5 months before I went to the first phase of banker school, and even as I write this it was 4 months ago that I completed phase one and have yet to begin phase 2. It seems like I had to be extremely forceful in order to have anything happen.
