      Pros

      The hybrid work schedule is nice.

      Cons

      A lot of org changes. Micromanaging managers and being required to work in the office when none of your team members work at the same location.

      Cons

      Low base pay that never increases. Barely any quality leads coming from the branches and you have to network outside of the bank for business. Unsupportive manager that lacks knowledge and micromanages. Lack of work life balance. Branches are outdated and dirty.

      Positive relationship with managers but new CEO

      Pros

      Good work life balance. Movement between teams was encouraged. Open relationship between managers and individual contributors. Good compensation package and a good severance package after a layoff. Comparatively, this seemed to be a great bank to work for during my time.

      Cons

      A new CEO had taken control and they were implementing a return to office strategy before I was laid off. Many aspects were not defined and the CEO was very unsympathetic. Team-level leaders implemented the strategies with varying degrees of strictness. The new CEO seemed to be very fake and my follow-up with former coworkers surfaced negative shifts in salaries, diversity, and transparency. Hopefully the team-level managers are able to buffer some of these pain points.
