Pros

Promotions are common if you work hard on the floor, always working overtime, gain sharing bonus, pizza and food events, friendly atmosphere on the floor most of the time

Cons

Snakes in the grass here watch out and be prepared for management to screw you over to get ahead themselves. Heartless-don't expect anything else. Everything is about the bottom line. Cut throat politics if you get high enough in the company.

Smart, Hard Working People....but; Watch Your Back

Pros

There a lot of smart hard working employees at USF. They care about their work and are a joy to be around. USF is growing, have good relationships with their customers, and have good products.

Cons

In several cases, I witnessed someone who was working hard and cared about their work be let go for no apparent reason. It seems if they come across as a possible threat to their boss, they are fired. As long as you don't work directly for director level management, you are okay.

- Local plants - Relatively flat structure

Cons

- Without exaggeration, it is the most negative and depressing corporate environment imaginable - Toxic personalities dominate many corporate departments. Feels like you end up being surrounded by arguments - Exhausting to work at and very disorganized - Cynicism thrives and drives talent away
