      Pros

      You can be sure you can get a paycheck without coming or performing any duties.

      Cons

      It is a good ol' boy's club. The management protects its own. Management only interested in its own skin. High achievers perform most of the duties. Incompetency is par for the course. If one complains enough s/he either gets a higher rating or less work. Performers are leaving in droves.

      Great for 'high 3' federal retirement

      Cons

      Bad culture, leadership is disconnected from employees, and DC headquarters is clueless about what it takes to work in the field. Retaliation is supported and encouraged.

      Great work/life balance, several schedules to choose from.

      Cons

      No trust. Management is completely blind to what worker bees are going through. No morale boosters whatsoever. Zero advancement opportunity.
