Pros

It's a good way to receive experience training

Cons

US Express is running ads looking for drivers for the Indiana area Walmart they say they're guaranteeing 950 a week when you get there they tell you that would be an average

Pros

Nothing good about this company. No pros!!!! Only pro was quitting their company and going with a company who knows how to treat their drivers the right way!!! ( Unlike US xpess) They are clueless to the proper way to treat drivers!

Cons

Drivers are treated badly. 1 day hometime per 1 week out for drivers, cubicle chimps get every evening at home, every weekend at home and not to mention any day during the week they want off. 8 hr shift for them, 14 hr shift for drivers. Their risks, papercuts or eye strain. Drivers risks, death. Management is full of lies, empty promises and BS! needed hometime is unattainable for drivers

Pros

Great working environment and culture. Great camaraderie between the people that you work with from the top down. Usxpress loves to engage its employees in sponsored events such as mud-runs, races and benefits from all levels of the organization. With the size of the company there are many opportunities for advancement in all divisions, so you never become stale in a position. They truly care for every employee and there are many programs that they offer from Wellness programs to Xpress Cares.

Cons

It is a stressful environment for sure, but that is the nature of a 365 a day 24 hour operation trucking company. Its a job where if your absent from your desk typically someone else is having to pull your weight. Its not a job where you can just pick up from where you left off. Decisions in operations need to be made quickly and you have to be willing to pull that trigger. Mistakes will be made, but they are all learning opportunities.
