      Pros

      The salary is reasonable considering the location. If you can appreciate the rural area you will enjoy living in Merced, Ca. The students make the work worth wild.

      Cons

      Far too many cooks in the kitchen. Extremely poor management which has caused high turn over. Heavy workload and unrealistic goals.

      Pros

      Great hours, great support with staff and co-workers. Overall a great experience. The time I spent working for the Police Department was one that I am proud of. The department itself strives to maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy to the public.

      Cons

      The only con I can think of is the fact that you sometimes are on call and during finals week that can put a strain on your studies, but that is the job in which you signed up for. Protecting the public is a 24/7 365 job.
