      Good enough for some spending money

      Pros

      Most of the tasks are easy. You get to do a lot of different tasks. People are easy to work with and friendly. They will work around your school schedule.

      Cons

      You get minimum wage. You have to deal with some annoying and angry customers. You have to be available all Saturdays.

      Pros

      -convenience is number one, on campus where classes are -flexible work hours to fit around classes -many different jobs available to students on campus -can be hired full time for summer Working on campus as a student worker is what you make of it. I've gained many responsibilities and usable job skills by simply being willing to try, and to learn new things and accept new projects. There are many departments to work for as a student- recreation center, accounting, audit, IT, dining, etc. It's a good way to get job experience while in school, ideally in your area of study, while only having to drive to one place every day and having flexibility of working between classes.

      Cons

      -constant workplace politics (however, where doesn't have this problem) -lower pay -no benefits for "student workers" even when working full time

      Pros

      Amazing weather, except for summer. Great place to meet diverse people. Great research. Very good and reasonable housing options

      Cons

      Extremely hot in summers. Nothing much to complain apart from that.
