Pros

Great coworkers, management, flexible schedule due to classes. Once you find the right location, you will be sad to move or quit upon graduation. I worked for dining services.

Cons

There may be no room for promotion at current location, might have to move to a different but may be worth the pay.

Pros

Friendly community. Most faculty members value work/family balance and are reasonable with flexible time schedules. Small town and laid back style life in Riverside. Possible to work with emeritus professors who has knowledgeable senses, good ideas and valuable social connections.

Cons

The classes/training offered are very poor for new gradstudents, either on teaching or techniques necessary to research. Usually takes loads of time to search for resources to learn from due to the small group and lack of talents. Undergraduate students in this school are very poorly-motivated and too party-ish to teach, therefore be prepared to be frustrated when it comes to teaching. Management from the advisors are less efficient due to work/life balance. Do not come if you desire speedy growth under intensive competitions and sharp talents.

Pros

There are some benefits whereas work-life balance is concerned. The more up on the ladder the better accommodations there are.

Cons

Benefits are not as competitive as they used to be. They are just above par as the top US companies. Retirement is contribute if you get hired now so that has diminished so far. The culture is old but there are some pockets of great people and management. VERY SLOW to promote.
