Pros

Beautiful part of the state in which to live.

Cons

After the merger with UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies became less supportive of nursing staff. They increased the patient to nurse ratio while decreasing our support staff. In my opinion this jeopardized patient care.

Pros

There is little to be happy at working at UC health. They expect you to be on call 24 hours a day and be able to work every shift no matter your senority. There are even times where they ask you to work off the clock if they are short on staff. Helping people get better is the only benefit to working there

Cons

There are so many it will be hard to fit it all here. The pay is very low compared to other hospitals. Managment is trying so hard to save money that it affects the nurses and doctors job of giving good healthcare. The benefits are just ok nothing to be super happy about. Most of my coworkers are awesome but everyone hates their job.
