Pros

Great health benefits Large company with multiple sites

Cons

Very tight glass door in this company, don't think of advancement, even if you qualify for a position. They will drive employees to death making them do SO much more than which is required of them. I was Manager for a department with no Director above me. I was Manager, Clinical and Director of department. I applied for a director position but was told I don't qualify. Excuse me? I have all the qualifications of the Director JD taken right off HR site. They have 2 of them, 1 generic and 1 department specific. The job descriptions are EXACTLY the same, except the department specific required a MS. No advancing here, they expect you to do your job, the job of your staff and jobs your "not qualified" for with little to no acknowledgement, no thank you-good job. Snobby administration.

Pros

Ability to work from home up to 3x/week. Clinically integrated health network with a growth focus.

Cons

Extremely low pay. Very low PTO (On your first year, you only get 2 weeks total in a year, from which 7 days are mandatory observed holidays, and the remaining 7 days are for sick days+vacation... Don't get sick!) Lack of team cohesiveness; teammates don't know each other; teams are separated between 3 locations (North/Metro/Colorado Springs) so no one ever meets face-to-face, this is attenuated by the fact that a lot of employees work from home and when they are in the office, they don't interact or know each other's names. No team-building/fun activities. High employee turnover rate.

The company sounds great but does not meet expectations

Pros

Great benefits Room for movement within hospital Consistent employment

Cons

Management is a "systems" based management, so nothing ever really changes. You are asked to take employee surveys, but no results come with your answers. You are not treated fairly. The wages are not acceptable for the Denver Metro area. ALL PTO, no sick or vacation (lumped into one bucket). Schedules are not flexible even though many departments are open 24/7.
