      Pros

      I've worked in a lot of different facilities for different companies and UCHealth is one of the better companies to work for. They have decent benefits, they actually do listen to input from nurses, have the highest pay for the area as far as hospitals go.

      Cons

      They still short-staff to keep shareholders bonuses high, but nothing like most places. They recently reduced the time to get your bonus, but you still have to wait 3 years.

      Pros

      Fantastic management on this unit. Our manager is the envy of the hospital; was able to staff this unit easily when it opened at the end of 2023 because many RNs and CNAs knew her and followed her here. Unit manager will find a way to advocate for staff. Also will help navigate a transfer out to another unit or job if that's what you want.

      Cons

      We get floated to other units (twice a month?), because we are well-staffed, and many other units are not.
