      Some good hardworking co-workers that try to make a difference.

      Cons

      The stupidity that runs rampant in that place. Please don't have more than a double digit IQ or you wont fit in here. Common Sense or logic will never be tolerated, if u are stupid and and a "yes" person with no integrity, maybe this is a the place for you.

      Pros

      Still some genuine caring staff that haven't given up and work together as a team. I like my direct supervisor.

      Cons

      People are leaving in droves because of the day to day stress of continual change and increases in nurse to patient ratios. The lack of caring exhibited when 5 hospitals merged into one huge company is astounding. They are dismantling their best hospitals piece meal. Pay is uneven across the company for equal jobs. After 10 years I'm finally considering leaving myself.

      Toxic work environment. Be prepared if your not in a clinical position to be looked down and stepped on by those in clinical positions. I can't count the number of times I've spoken to drs and nurses only to have them turn their noses up at me. Drs and nurses will talk about patients right outside their rooms, and make all sorts of remarks, making it unethical and uncomfortable. When you speak up, your told to deal with it. They will work you to death and and have unrealistic expectations of what is humanly possible.
