      Pros

      The hospital offers a wide variety of patient treatment options, some of which are only available at UCH.

      Cons

      Hospital and patients are poorly managed. There are good doctors and nurses, but as a whole, the hospital does not function together.

      Stay away from UCHealth in Colorado Springs

      Pros

      They offer excellent benefits, including good health insurance (Kaiser-not the very limited "select" plan).

      Cons

      Working in the OR requires a team effort and lots of support from management. You will get neither at this location. Hospital administration will tell you what you want to hear and then do nothing to help you. They have high turn over for new staff and employ temporary staff to meet demand. Leave time was denied for several months due to short staffing.

      Pros

      Team is pretty laid back. Most people are fun to work with. Some decent perks, like option to work remotely part time.

      Cons

      Environment is still stuck in the old days of business dress requirements and rows of cubicles. PTO is fairly limited. Resistance to replacing old technologies with newer, more flexible ones. Fully immersed in the Microsoft ecology (may not be a con for everyone).
