Pros

Good coworkers, overall cohesion and work.

Cons

Lots of red tape and Senior leadership that ignores issues until they become a problem. Managers do not communicate and are constantly at odds with each other, presenting a toxic environment from the top down.

Pros

Nice variety of critical patients and challenges. Unique learning opportunities (trauma, ECMO, pulmonary hypertension)

Cons

The department is a disorganized mess and a tripping hazard. Flooded with temporary care areas. The place is bursting at the seams and it’s unsustainable
