Great learning experience in the world of research.

Pros

They train you for just about everything you need to do your job. It is very laid-back although you need to have great attention to detail.

Cons

Not much room for growth. The hierarchy of the lab positions is extremely structured and you some of the work can be monotonous.

Radiology/MRI under new management=unfortunate loss of good techs due to poor management skills.

Some really great techs to work with who are willing to share their knowledge. Excellent benefits. Opportunity to learn multiple systems.

Cons

Middle management that runs dept by emotion rather than facts. Expensive parking. Disorganized training program. Blatant favoritism. Loss of really good team members due to new management.

Pros

Smart people, dedication, excellent in patient care if you have some terrible disease, decent employee benefits.

Cons

Horrible bureaucracy, too many over-paid administrators, poor coordination, very political especially in terms of salary and promotions. Coordination of care is very bad, especially for outpatients.
