If you love college athletics this is a great place to start. Its a great work environment and everyone is extremely nice. Great place to learn and develop strong interpersonal skills.

Cons

The pay is not the best because its a public university. There is an opportunity for growth but can sometimes be limited.

Pros

UCLA is a prestigious research university in US and all over the world. Working at UCLA ensures you the access to a lot of research resources

Cons

As a public school, UCLA also faces the problem of short budget. As the professors and PI do not feel comfortable and secure about their fundings, sometimes they'll anxiously look for money, which influence their patience in research.
