Pros

My post doctoral fellow and PI are fantastic making the research experience very worthwhile. Additionally, I receive academic credit for my research. I highly recommend UCLA as a place to learn what research is all about.

Cons

As an undergraduate researcher at UCLA you will most likely never get paid. There are however some stipends and grants that one can apply for if he or she meets the given criteria. They are limited and not guaranteed even if you are a hard working student.
