Pros

The company's motto is "People First" it is not a cliche, it is who we are and we stand by it. Your voice is heard here and the company values new ideas and solutions. The company also pays 100% of our benefits, which look around how many companies do that....not many. They are great about developing you as employees, and there are tons of opportunities for advancement. We are on our way to $1 Billion by 2018. If you are looking for a great company, with awesome benefits, great culture, lots of growth and advancement then check us out. You definitely want to get on board this train because we are going places.

Cons

No Cons at all. This is a company people should appreciate and those that don't probably haven't worked too many places.

Benefits & Culture Eroding - Uncertain Future

Pros

Kronos is in the midst of a transformation, lots of innovation occurring. Product and services model is being transformed very rapidly and in very positive ways. The value proposition is high for the potential client.

Cons

This year's sales kick off was a disappointment. Certain reps that had a banner year were not recognized for their individual contribution. In the past, for certain blockbuster deals, Kronos recognized and even awarded the entire team that contributed. Those deals were not even mentioned, or their teams awarded. Instead, Kronos awarded only one individual in each vertical. Kronos has quietly pared back it's benefits, for example, it appears that the top tier employees have lost a year of vacation through a non-publicized policy revision. Advancement it difficult at Kronos, it's very easy to get pigeon holed by management into a particular role. It seems that very few people get promoted outside their position to doing something completely new or different. Kronos has an uncertain future as it was nearly sold a couple years ago. Held by a private equity firm and is currently beyond the "typical" holding period. Employees are not being given any equity participation in a potential sale or IPO at this time, even though the company has been growing and consistently profitable.

Pros

Ultimate Software focuses on People First. From fully paid benefits (employee and family) to charity events for the community and others in need, Ultimate shows a relentless commitment to people - not just their employees. The dedication of Viv Maza and her team to building a culture of genuine, trusting teammates is inspiring. A true pursuit of excellence with People at every opportunity. Seeing Scott Scherr, CEO, interact with employees is a true testament to the value that is placed on each individual. The humble stories, heartfelt handshakes, and his genuine interest is evident. More pros: - Career Opportunity (company growth) - Dedication to personal growth (leadership and soft skills training) I am proud to say I work for Ultimate Software!

Cons

Fast company growth has created strain on building teams. Despite the hiring efforts, our continued need for skilled payroll professionals grows. Current markets are stressed for finding experienced talent.
