- My team are my best friends/family - Working on a product used by millions in production - Working on latest tech stack - Transferrable skills that I use in my side projects - Side projects encouraged by team members - Lots of celebrations, events, food, movie nights, parties - Lots of team building, outings, bonding opportunities - Flexible hours and remote work - Unlimited PTO - Good work life balance, busier before major milestones - Open communication between team members - Comfort sharing personal life with team members/manager - Occasional travel opportunities - Healthy company outlook - T-shirts, gifts, swag - Great benefits including 45% rrsp match - Wellness budget including sports teams, yoga, personal trainer - Great company image, proud to work for Ultimate - Nice office, games room, snacks, drinks & coffee, comfortable - Employees young and old treat each other with respect and get along well - Close and friendly relationship with C-level executives - Company provided training opportunities - Focus on retaining people through positive culture - Routine great place to work award winners - Volunteering opportunities - UltiService days - Casual, comfortable work attire - Strong preaching of company core values ends up making the culture pretty darn good

Cons

- Compensation is higher than smaller companies at least, but lower than big tech companies, which is what most people will compare it to - Promotion process can sometimes be stiff & somewhat bureaucratic - Inter-team collaboration is usually good but sometimes difficult

Pros

Official Supervisors are very professional and considerate.

Cons

Co-workers are introverted and terrible at explaining what they want. They get mad when you can't do what they tell you to do even though they are horrible at training new hires.
