Supervalu does not take into consideration how hard of a worker you are. When push comes to shove they will lay off by the number not by the contributor of the company.

Weekly pay, decent benefits, private brand discounts, company has returned to profitability

Cons

The company expects you to give them everything and gives you very little in return. Poor performers are promoted while the people who work hard are just given more work with no promotion/raises. The office looks like something out of 1980, with leadership and attitudes to match. When processes are questioned, people just shrug and say "that's the way we've always done it." The office is also dusty and moldy, so people are constantly coughing and sneezing. The CEO is tone deaf and doesn't seem to realize that not everyone makes a CEO salary.
