Business Outlook
Pros
Large company with a lot of opportunities, especially for just-over-entry level employees. The grocery business is a great trade from many standpoints, and with wholesale and retail operations Supervalu offers a great opportunity to get a lot of experience. Once the business gets stable, it will probably be a good place to work again...but there's no knowing when that will happen.
Cons
Supervalu has always had an element of politics, but after the Albertsons merger the gloves really came off. The only way to survive was to keep your head down, and eventually those with their heads down lose them.
