Pros

At the core the work done by UNICEF is beneficial to the developing country population. There is job satisfaction that you are in someway affecting positive change. Great benefits - 6 weeks vacation; 6 month maternity leave; paternity leave; etc.

Cons

- Limited ability to move upward - especially from the general service category to the professional category
