I worked with some of the most compassionate and caring nurses. I had an excellent unit director and our unit worked relatively as a team.

Cons

Terrible benefits. "Free health insurance" but premiums and deductibles were insanely high. Also, forced to see providers who actually work in hospital with you…awkward. Compensation is not great and typically short staffed.
