I've worked for UNMH for 8 years and I love my job. I work 4 - 10s Fri, Sat Sun off.

Cons

Chances of advancement are slim to none. They'd rather hire externally than promote within.

Pros

Team work of the nurses is good. Good pay with great differentials. Busy times do have overtime incentives. Assignments are usually fair and manageable

Cons

Poor management in NICU, dishonest, no positive involvement. Will place babies in non-spaces when busy leading to infection control issues
