Pros

Used to have better than average pay Used to have great benefits (price went up 130% this year)

Cons

You must be willing to change your work shift at the companys will. Over and over again. (Tough if you have kids). And to get promoted you must take the next promotion offered and relocate. They don't pay moving expenses if your a part time sup being promoted to full time. If you don't accept the first offer, it's rare to get another. Now they are forcing full time supervisors to relocate/lateral moves without moving expenses. If you don't take it, you are removed from the promotion list. Raises are very low. Bonuses stopped. 401k Match stopped.

Pros

Benefits are great, salary is fair for the job you're doing, good commitment to work/life balance

Cons

Commitment to safety is high, but covered up with too much paperwork. Having the employees be safe shouldn't involve having them memorize safety rules so they can pass audits; it should simply be a system of having auditors walk around and looking for unsafe behavior.

Pros

Great benefits, you can work different shifts what work with your family schedule, especially if you have small kids.

Cons

Stressful lots of competition, limited promotion availability. You can have best education and still politics play the big roll. People start from the bottom and work their way up. You can wait 5-15 years till you get promoted to full time position.
