Pros

The job isn’t easy but it’s a huge ego boost at the end of the day. It’s good for social and anti social people because everyone does their own thing and you aren’t forced to talk to others or customers. I’m only 5 months in u get benefits after 9 but u get schooling benefits asoon as you start. Its not for everyone but in the end the job will make you mentally stronger. I’ma 100lb female if I can do it y’all can too!!!!

Cons

We only get 1 10 minute break :/ and u HAVE to dress according to weather since it and open space they don’t have air or heat in the trailers only fans

Pros

They act like military so you can learn some discipline.

Cons

Managers take advantage of you You are overworked daily The benefits are a rip off Upper managements plays favorites Frequent Lying Upper management will abuse you if you struggle, to make you quit. Upper Management will screw you out of the hours you worked, to look good on paper. Part Time managers have no power, and have to rely on persuasion, which creates "Fake" people. Easy to get injured Dirty but from negligence Upper Management will screw you over Old managers don't train new managers, so expect trial and error

Paid overtime is the key

Pros

They paid overtime- the key to make money They pay health insurance for you and your family (after 6 month though)

Cons

1st The late start - As the driver you have to wait for the next day air shuttle and it comes most of the time late. It makes your day really long. 2nd Really physically hard jobs - most of the people won't last a year. They stock your truck so much that you wanna quit just seeking it. 3rd They pay preloaders so little for one the most physically strenuous jobs up there which results in really high turnover of workers. Which leads to a lot of miss-loads and more headaches and job for you as the driver. 4th They don't start to pay enough the first year drivers. But that's their strategy to make the money - make the young drivers work as much as possible and lay off the senior drivers for a day or two cause they make a big money 5th - 1 week paid vacation after 1 year hard work is not enough ---every other better company starts at least with 10 days of PTO
