Pros

-100% free health insurance. Including dental, vision, prescriptions. Amazing plan too: low copays, very low prescription costs. -With no education, this is one of the highest-paying jobs you could get. (You get a raise every 6 months too!) -If you're in school, UPS pays you $1000 per semester to help cover tuition costs. Its like getting a $1000 bonus check for completing each semester! -You'll work hard almost every night. This should cause you to go home each night with a great sense of pride and accomplishment at a job well done. It's a very good feeling that you just can't get from working at, say, a grocery store. -If you like Tetris, then loading trucks is for you!

Cons

-It gets very hot in the summer. And you're working in a warehouse. Industrial fans and water jugs become your best friends. -Likewise, it gets very cold in the winter. And very, VERY busy around the holidays (Christmas). -It is hard, heavy, fast-paced work and there's no "easy way out". This job is not for slackers.

Pros

The only pro is that they do have good benefits for part-time workers. Some of these benefits can rival most full-time positions at higher levels.

Cons

Very cut-throat environment where it is obvious that upper management will never look to help you out. For the most part they use lower levels as a scapegoat to cover themselves when those under them were not even apart of a particular situation. Always talked down to and treated as if stupid or have no general knowledge of anything. Always looking to save a penny so if you are looking for some kind of fix with anything, good luck. Some things have been broken for months and look to never be replaced (that is very common practice). Very common to see a revolving door of employees of lasting only a year or less. This is usually due to managment not caring for their employees since they do not treat their employees as people but more as a part to a machine. Be prepared to be grinded into the ground. Overall, I would never reccomend anyone to work for this place.
