Pros

ups hired me when other employers were looking at resumes very streamlined straight forward hiring process, all you need is a pulse and no skeletons in your closet. surprisingly consistant monday thru friday hours. no problem with overtime good exercise, you will be great shape for first runs of ski season. get to meet folks in your neighborhood. get the dirt on folks in your neighborhood. nice customers will give you cookies, and nicer ones will give you rum brownies.

Cons

You want me to what, for for $9.50/ hr??? management wants nothing to do with seasonal hires, they just can't wait until December 24, and then get rid of you. will promise "advancement opportunity" or "foot in the door" but in reality the only permanent jobs go to people who know somebody in the union. no appreciation for busting a## for a month. merry christmas, you are now unemployed again. please do not file for unemployment, we will challenge it, because you have been working less than 30 days.

Pros

Ups offers great benefits, a flexible work schedule, and management that tries to allow you to balance your professional and personal life.

Cons

Entry level, UPS offers a very low wage for the amount of work you must do. As a supervisor they constantly want you to observe and look for negative behavior to the point that you become focused on the negative not the positive.

Pros

Nice Corporate Building Clean Bathrooms Decent food

Cons

I work in the HR Training Department. I have never worked with so many insecure, incompetent men in my life. This place is all about rank. Supervisors are not allowed to eat with Specialist or Admin. The cafeteria is like a high school lunch room. You literally see people eating with their clicks. They have a policy book which no one adheres to. Pay is HORRIBLE...you get to keep half of your bonus in cash and the other half goes into stock. Micro Managing to the max...the minimum work hour is 55 hours...and the pay is not competitive. SAD, SAD, SAD!!!
