Pros

UPS affords its employees room for growth. They also provide great, affordable medical & dental insurance. They work alongside of strong unions that ensure safe environments for employees.

Cons

The labor can be intense at times. Though they do offer less physically demanding positions, the bulk of the job opportunities involve long hours of heavy lifting. It's a great way to stay in shape though!

Pros

Safety oriented, motivated work environment, many different positions, ability to move up within, Human Resources are very caring, Union covered positions (except Supervisors/Management)

Cons

Hired as a cover driver and, being a female, my supervisors didn't tend to actually put females out on the road. My trainer fought for me since I was very good during training but after peak season, he went back to retirement and they didn't use me for driving

Pros

The biggest benefit of the part-time package handler position is that you can do this job without affecting your potential to have a full-time job, since the shift is from 4:30am - 8:30am.

Cons

Who wants to wake up at 4am? Lol.
