Pros

Great Pay, opportunity with large company

Cons

High expectations not worth pay will end of being carried out on a stretcher or being smart enough yo walk out before the job kills you. The don't care about you.

Pros

The hourly wage us good (i was at $23/hour) and I appreciated being able to drive my own car. It's a decent way to make some extra money for rhe holidays, if you can deal with the negatives.

Cons

The work is very unpredictable so if you are counting on the pay to make rent or something, this is not for you. You get a text the day before letting you know if you will be working the next day, so it's hard to make any other plans. Then in the morning of the work day, you get a text with a time and place to show up. You won't know what your route is like though until you can clock in - which you absolutely cannot do until your start time. I never had the same route twice (a repeat would have been nice in order to get to know an area and be more efficient). You dont know until you show up how many stops & packages you'll have. Some days I was done in 1 1/2 hours; others days it was 8 hours. Some days, I'd be scheduled to work, only to get a text in the morning that there weren't enough routes after all so I was cut. They keep a hard eye on the time it takes you to get through your route. You're expected to make at least 10 stops per hour to start, but then to get closer to 17 per hour or more. They say they want you to be safe, but they also really want you to go fast!

Pros

Active outdoor job making decent wage with minimal supervision. If you get a skilled and experienced driver, it's very easy. If you can get hired on after the seasonal needs, it sounds like the union will advocate very well for you, and you could work your way to driver for high pay + benefits relatively soon--but it's a big "if" deyending on the year.

Cons

Won't now your route or time until the morning of. Must watch the 6-hour hreshold closely so you don't lose a half hour of pay for a lunch.
